3rd Day: Konya – Pamukkale

Today we check-out and leave from the hotel as early as we can. Our first stop wil be Sultanhanı Caravanserai, is an architectural gem that dates back to the 13th century. Built in 1229 by the Seljuk sultan, Alaeddin Keykubad, it served as a stopping place for traders and their animals to rest and replenish their supplies along the ancient Silk Road. Our second stop, The Mevlana Museum in Konya, showcases the life and teachings of the famous Sufi philosopher and poet, Mevlana Rumi, who is also known as the ‘Whirling Dervish’. The museum houses a vast collection of artifacts and exhibits that create a vivid portrayal of Mevlana’s life, his works, and his influence on Turkish culture and society. From his poetry to his musical compositions and religious philosophy, the museum offers a comprehensive insight into the legacy of this iconic figure. The Mevlana Museum is more than just a place for learning, it is a testament to the spiritual and cultural richness of Turkey. At the end of the day, we arrive to Pamukkale for dinner and overnight.

4th Day: Pamukkale  – Kusadasi

After the breakfast, our first stop for the day will be Pamukkale, which is a natural wonder renowned for its white, calcite travertine terraces and crystal clear thermal waters. The name, which means “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a fitting description of this unique geological formation that has been formed over thousands of years. The hot springs that rise in the area contain high levels of minerals that have built up these dazzling cascades of white limestone. In addition to the stunning views, Pamukkale is also home to a number of ancient ruins, including the city of Hierapolis, which was founded during the Hellenistic period. Our second stop for today Şirince village which is a charming and picturesque destination known for its rich history and traditional architecture after a 3 hours drive. Our final stop for today is a Carpet Village. The carpet weaving culture of Turkey has a long and fascinating history that dates back to ancient times. Many centuries ago, Turkish nomads in Central Asia began weaving carpets as an essential part of their daily lives. Over time, the art of carpet weaving became more intricate and refined, and Turkish carpets became one of the most sought-after and well-regarded carpets in the world. Today, Turkish carpets are beloved for their intricate designs and high quality, and they remain an essential part of Turkey’s rich cultural heritage. The process of carpet weaving is a complex and time-consuming one that requires a great deal of skill and patience, and Turkish weavers take great pride in their craft. Despite the challenges of modernization, the carpet weaving culture of Turkey continues to thrive and remains a vital part of the country’s cultural identity. 5th Day: House of The Virgin Marry – Ephesus

Today, let’s follow the footprints of the Romans in Ephesus. It is widely considered to be one of the most well-preserved examples of ancient Greek and Roman architecture in the world. Founded in the 10th century BC, Ephesus was once a thriving metropolis and one of the most important cultural and economic centers of the ancient world. Today, our last stop will be a little fashion show for leather. Turkey is well-known for its high-quality leather goods and is considered to be one of the world’s leading producers of leather. Turkish leather is highly sought after for its durability and exceptional craftsmanship. Turkey’s leather goods are exported to countries all over the world and can be found in high-end fashion stores worldwide. With its reputation for excellence, Turkey continues to be a prominent player in the global leather goods market. After the show, we drive to Izmir for your return flight to Istanbul.
