After breakfast, we leave early from Cappadocia and drive to Gaziantep (5 hours drive). Today we will visit Zeugma Mosaic Museum, established in 2011, the museum showcases an impressive collection of Roman mosaics, some of which date back to the 2nd century AD. The museum houses more than 2,000 square meters of mosaics, making it the largest in the world. The intricate designs, vivid colors and stunning craftsmanship of the mosaics are a testament to the artistic and technical skill of the ancient Roman artisans. The Zeugma Mosaic Museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in ancient history, art and architecture. Its exceptional collection of mosaics is a true wonder of the ancient world. After this magnificent museum, we will stroll through around the Gaziantep Catle and see Copper Bazaar and some historical trading centers that we call “Han”.
Overnight in Gaziantep
4th Day Halfeti – Göbeklitepe – Şanlıurfa
After breakfast, our first stop will be Bald Ibis Conservation Station. After getting some information and pictures from this station, continue our journey to Halfeti to get the boat trip on Birecik Dam to see Savaşan village for about an hour. Next stop will be Gobeklitepe, stands as a remarkable archaeological discovery consisting of extensive megalithic ruins in Şanlıurfa. Its unique structures and carvings have challenged the conventional understanding of the progression of human civilization and the advent of religion. The site, believed to have been built over 11,600 years ago, predates the development of agriculture and settled communities, forcing a re-evaluation of our understanding of the hunter-gatherer societies of the time. The intricate carvings of animals, creatures, and symbols carved into the T-shaped pillars that make up the structures of Göbeklitepe suggest a sophisticated belief system that played a fundamental role in the evolution of human society. As an unparalleled archaeological site, the newly opened museum and visitor center offer a unique opportunity to explore this fascinating site.

Overnight in Şanliurfa
5th Day Mardin
After breakfast at the hotel, we are leaving for the City of Mardin (2.5 hours). Deyrulzaferan (Mor Hananyo) Monastery. The monastery dates back to the 5th century and is considered one of the most significant spiritual centers for the Syriac Orthodox Church. The monastery is renowned for its stunning architecture, which reflects the rich cultural heritage of the region. Lunch in a local restaurant and stroll through the old city to see Ulu Camii and Mardin Museum.
At the end of the day, we drive you to the airport for your return flight to Istanbul.
